All products are manufactured in Barnesville, Minnesota from 1-inch, 16-gauge tubular steel that is cut, bent, milled, welded, and finished to reduce moving parts. Metal components are powder coated or zinc-plated. Easels and taborets carry a three-year warranty; tables and donkeys are warranted for five years after delivery to customers.

Many easels support work on only a single post. They may have three posts, but the locking unit, the principal point of support, is on the center post. Both the Barnesville Slope and Stak Easels™ are true two-post easels, providing stable support at two points
The Stak Easel™ uses a pair of clips to secure stretchers to the easel. Adjusting individually means they readily accommodate asymmetrical canvases.
The tensioning knob on the support ledge of the Slope Easel is centered, but it tightens the interior steel bar against both outside posts for maximum stability. We think this simple design choice results in the sturdiest, most dependable easels available—our two-post easels can reliably support the largest and heaviest artwork.
